About Sook-Yin Lee:
Sook-Yin Lee is a toronto-based musician, actor, filmmaker and TV and radio broadcaster. Her award winning short films, Unlocked, Girl Cleans Sink and Escapades of The One Particular Mr. Noodle have screened internationally. Sook-Yin stars in the adventurous comedy Shortbus, directed by John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), which premiered at the Festival de Cannes 2006. Recently, Sook-Yin wrote, directed and performed in the Brazilian, a chapter in the film Toronto Stories. 2009 marks her feature film screenplay and directorial debut with Year of The Carnivore, produced by Screen Siren Pictures and the Film Farm.
Year of The Carnivore will be featured this year at the Toronto International Film Festival 2009.
